Historic Downtown Fredericksburg is best known for the University of Mary Washington, its civil war landmarks, battlefields, and the many places where George Washington frequented. Riverside Center Dinner Theater. The center of a thriving cultural arts community in Fredericksburg, the Riverside Center has hosted over 60 main-stage Broadway musical productions and over 100 musical adaptations of popular children’s stories in the Children’s Theater. Regal Aquia Movies 10. Right off I-95 at Exit 143, this ten-screen theater shows first-run movies, seven days-a-week.
