Embrey Mill and Walkable Commuity Go Together Like PB & Jam!
Walkability yes it’s a word. According to Wikipedia “Walkability is a measure of how friendly an area is to walking. Walkability has health, environmental, and economic benefits. Factors influencing walkability include the presence or absence and quality of footpaths, sidewalks.” Here at Embrey Mill we are proud to say that we have total “Walkability” in our neighborhood. You can walk to any of our park as well as from one phase of the development to the other. On any given day as you ride through Embrey Mill you will see moms, kids, and dog walkers traveling up and down our sidewalks. Our goal at Embrey Mill was for you to come home, park your car and leave the busy lifestyle behind you as your enjoy all the community has to offer. And with so many fun places to stop at along the way you’ll never get board of your stroll. Stop by the Jeff Rouse Center for a swim or go to the Grounds Bistro and Café for a quick bite, then head to one of the many playgrounds for some kid friendly fun.
